Hello!

It has been a long time that you have not heard from me. Let me give you an update of the condition of my wife since her left knee was operated on 6 weeks ago. She is responding well to the teraphy. In fact she can already walk on her own without any aid. She can already do things in the home. She can now go the restroom on her own. She has already started attending church. Praise God for her fast recovery. Of course, she is not yet fully recovered so continue to pray for her.

It is me now who is under medication for several months. I have noticed for a long time that I am suffering from dry mouth especially when i speak and it has been bothering me. I went to a dentist but he did not see anything wrong with my teeth. Then I went to an EENT doctor for check up and the diagnose is that I am suffering from atrophic anthritis that has damaged already the lining of my tongue and my nasal glands. I am taking three medicines to repair the damage but it will take some time. I have been taking the medicines for one week now and i am beginning to find relief. So please include me in your prayers.

Thank God that in spite of the trying monents we are going through the ministry of IGS continous. I praise God for my fellowworkers who are willing to take the responsibilities.

Lessons in Job

Job 1:20-21 20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised."  Lesson: When we are faced with difficult situations, instead of blaming and complaining against God, let us recognize that God is in charge no matter what happens to us. This will lead us to praise and worship God despite what we go through."

Lessons in Isaiah

Isaiah 53:5-6 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Lesson: It could have been us who died because of our sin, but Christ took our place and paid for our sin in full when He died for us on the cross of Calvary. Because of this, salvation is made available to us, which we now enjoy because of our faith in Him. Let us forever be grateful to Him.

Lessons in 1 John

1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Lesson: The model for us in loving one another is the love of God for us. The way God has loved us is the way we should love one another. He should be our standard, not human love. While God's love is unconditional, sincere, and selfless, human love is often the opposite.
