Happy New Year.

I just want to inform you about our December ministries.Thanks for your prayers:-Dec. 4-7 - I taught a modular class on I Timothy at Word of life in Calauan Laguna-Dec. 10 - I spoke during the tagalog worship service of my home church.-Dec. 23 - I spoke during the combined worship service of my home church

- Dec. 26-30 - IGS personnel spoke at two simultaneous youth camps:
in Calaca, Batangas: Pastors Mike Menez and Edwin Cueto (attendance: 100; 7 got saved and 80 dedicated their lives to the Lord)

In Palayan City, Nueva Ecija: Pastors Nelson de Jesus, Bobot Tiamson and Nathan Rosaldo (Attendance: 250, close to 50 dedicated their lives to the Lord.)IGS will celebrate its 6th year anniversary on January 4-5, 2008 at a camp site in San Pablo City.100 pastors and workers are expected to attend this overnight retreat which will offer free food and accommodation to those who will attend. Thanks to all our generous sponsors. May God bless you in return.Again, Happy New year. By God's grace 2008 will be a blessed year for us. God is good all the time.

Lesson: It could have been us who died because of our sin, but Christ took our place and paid for our sin in full when He died for us on the cross of Calvary. Because of this, salvation is made available to us, which we now enjoy because of our faith in Him. Let us forever be grateful to Him.

Lessons in 1 John

1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Lesson: The model for us in loving one another is the love of God for us. The way God has loved us is the way we should love one another. He should be our standard, not human love. While God's love is unconditional, sincere, and selfless, human love is often the opposite.
