July 2006

The youth group from Harmony Baptist Fellowship, San Diego, California headed by Pastor and Mrs. Sydney Albano came to the Philippines for a one-week missions’ trip. The group composed of 9 young people and three adults arrived last June 24 and visited some Churches and Christian schools to do musical presentations.

· I thank the Lord for the opportunity of coordinating the group’s schedules and venues. I praise God also for the privilege of being with them as driver and speaker.
· It is my pleasure to give the highlights of what happened during their one-week missions’ trip.

June 25:
-Morning Worship Service (church Anniversary), Marikina Fundamental Baptist Church, Marikina City
-Evening Service, Angono Fundamental Baptist Church, Angono. Rizal.

June 26:
-Morning – Antipolo Faith Christian School, Antipolo City
-Afternoon – Christian School, Calvary Baptist Church, Cainta City.

June 27:
-Morning – Kintner Christian Academy, San Pablo City, Laguna
-Afternoon – San Lorenzo Christian Academy, Sta. Rosa. Laguna

June 28:
-Morning (9-10 am) - Baptist Bible Seminary and Institute, Taytay, Rizal
-Morning (10:30-11:30am) – BBSI Christian Academy, Taytay, Rizal
-Evening (Prayer meeting) – Heritage Baptist Church, Quezon City

June 29 – Break (visited Subic Bay, Olongapo City)
June 30 - Bataan
July 1 – Teresa Faith Fundamental Baptist mission, Teresa, Rizal

July 2 :
-Morning (9:00-10:00) – Youth Fellowship, Faith Fundamental Baptist Church, Antipolo City
-Morning (10-11:30) – Worship Service, Faith fund. Baptist Church, Antipolo City
-Afternoon – Taguig, Rizal


Items for thanksgiving:
Praise God for souls saved and believers edified especially the youth.
Praise God also for his safekeeping and provision.

Lesson: It could have been us who died because of our sin, but Christ took our place and paid for our sin in full when He died for us on the cross of Calvary. Because of this, salvation is made available to us, which we now enjoy because of our faith in Him. Let us forever be grateful to Him.

Lessons in 1 John

1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Lesson: The model for us in loving one another is the love of God for us. The way God has loved us is the way we should love one another. He should be our standard, not human love. While God's love is unconditional, sincere, and selfless, human love is often the opposite.
