March 31 to April 5, 2006

Hello,

I am excited to share with you what happened to my ministry these past few days:
- March 31 - speaker, recognition day, Antipolo Faith christian School. I challenge the students to be achievers.
-April 1 - speaker, 7th commencement exercises, Durungao Christian school, Durungao, Batangas. My wife and I really enjoyed our fellowship with Pastor Robillos and family. I spoke on the Impact of Godly wisdom in the family.
-April 2 - Speaker, Worship Service, Charity Baptist Church, Durungao, Batangas, I spoke on the essence of spiritual maturity.
-April 3-5 - Medical missions in Binabalian, Zambales. Our missions team from Antipolo (about 12 people) was able to serve almost 200 patients. We were able to share the gospel to these patients. Most of them professed to receive Christ as Savior. Amen! The church in Zambales is an adopted church of Antipolo Faith Fund. Baptist Church.

Thanks for your prayers. Continue to pray for our project Mindanao: May 22-23 - Bukidnon; May 24-25 - Cagayan de Oro; May 26-28 - Butuan (with Dr. Collado) and July 17-23 - regional conference in Davao (with Dr. Collado and Mike Menez). Still raising 13,500 for our airfare.

Also pray for the SIBFK's juniors camp on April 19-21 at Baptist Camp, Calaca, Batangas. Speaker: Pastor Marlon Albo, youth pastor, Faith Fund. Baptist Church, an IGS volunteer.

God bless,

Pastor Nelson de Jesus

Lessons in Job

Job 1:20-21 20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised."  Lesson: When we are faced with difficult situations, instead of blaming and complaining against God, let us recognize that God is in charge no matter what happens to us. This will lead us to praise and worship God despite what we go through."

Lessons in Isaiah

Isaiah 53:5-6 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Lesson: It could have been us who died because of our sin, but Christ took our place and paid for our sin in full when He died for us on the cross of Calvary. Because of this, salvation is made available to us, which we now enjoy because of our faith in Him. Let us forever be grateful to Him.

Lessons in 1 John

1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Lesson: The model for us in loving one another is the love of God for us. The way God has loved us is the way we should love one another. He should be our standard, not human love. While God's love is unconditional, sincere, and selfless, human love is often the opposite.
