Greetings!
God allows things to happen that we don't expect and understand but they happen for a divine purpose. That is my comfort right now as my wife and I are going through trying and toiugh times in our lives.
Two weeks ago I noticed a cyst located on the left part of my neck. It started very small which grew bigger in a matter of two weeks. For peace of mind, last thursday my wife and I went to the doctor for check up and I was told that it was not something life threatening but still has to be removed by surgery. We went home very happy and thanked God for the result of the check up. At about 9:30pm, my wife fell due to a slippery portion somewhere near our gate and her left knee cap was dislocated. When I was notified about what happen to her, I immediately went to the place to see what happened to my wife. I found her sitting on the floor and could not move her left knee and it was swollen. I knew that there was something wrong. I rushed her to a nearby hospital and it was found out that her knee cap gave way and would need operation. Then upon referral by a doctor friend, I rushed her to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for second opinion and the advised was the same; her knee needs operation. I though that she would have her operation done at PGH but due to difficulty in schedule, I decided to transfer her to Polymedic Hospital at the advise of my senior pastor where a good ortho surgeon is working who happens to be a christian and who is doing a free medical clinic for my home church in Antipolo every Saturday.
Kindly pray for my wife that God would sustain her during the operation (on Monday or Tuesday) and rehabilitation. Pray for our financial needs. Being in a private hospital would mean that her operation would entail a lot of expenses. However, I believe that God in his own way will be able provide it for us. This is really a test of faith on our part. By God's grace, I know that we will be able to come out of these trying times victorious. I will keep you posted regarding the result of her operation.
